Hello again, Since we have a bit more time on our hands now, we wanted to make some more posts. We are currently enjoying the TVB series,  Life After Death (那些我愛過的人) with fresh actors and pairs onscreen. With the final song by Brian Tse and Joey Thye released yesterday, we decided to bring you a theme song review for the series! The theme song for the drama is "小謊言" sung by Shiga Lin (連詩雅). Since Shiga is the second female lead in the show, we expected a song from her. We were excited since Shiga hasn't come out with a new song for a long time. However, we noticed that the theme song was released later than the subtheme by Jinny and ending theme by Hana. As well, the other songs have music videos with actors, a story, and some outdoor scenes, whereas this MV is only inside a room. For us, staying at home has allowed us to keep up with a variety of different dramas and series. Today, we decided to bring you another TVB series review for The Exorcist's 2nd Meter  (降魔的2.0)! This series had 25 episodes and was aired from May 4th to June 5th, 2020. It is the highly anticipated sequel to  The Exorcist's Meter  (降魔的) that aired in 2017 and generated a lot of buzz. Hello everyone! It's been so long since we've posted and written a review! Nice to be writing again especially since we have kinda drifted from the blog and from watching TVB dramas. There were none that were memorable and we have also been crazy busy with our own lives.  We did enjoy I Bet Your Pardon but didn't bother with Ghetto Fabulous Lady since it looked kinda stale.  However, we are back with a song review post for The Defected and it's also a drama that we are watching currently!!  First up is the theme song sung by Fred Cheng.  This is pretty standard Fred and we don't see anything new particularly. The melody isn't really outstanding, it might be after we brainwash ourselves a little bit haha. Lyrics wise, it's very fitting for the drama and sounds more like it's aimed at Benjamin Yuen's character. Hey everyone! We're back with a post on the new theme songs for Life on the Line. We didn't find any songs that were good in September so just skipped the Pick of the Month. As for drama updates, Cee finished The Story of Yanxi Palace and Jay is currently watching it. We are both watching Another Era right now and it's pretty good for TVB standards these days and we appreciate the different location filming in HK. But enough on that, we will get into the Life on the Line songs now. This looks like a solid drama with a strong "new" cast, we've always liked watching Matthew Ho and Moon Lau. It's been a while since we've seen Joe Ma and he's never been too special for us, in fact kinda boring and too "textbook" sometimes. The theme song is sung by Fred Cheng. Hello! We've just listened to the two songs for The Stunt that will be airing on TVB.  We are looking forward to watching this drama because stunt performers are an important part of TV/film production and often neglected. Watching some promo clips for this drama gave us a very different feel to the filming of it, so we'll see how it turns out. This drama has a new cast as well with Shaun Tam and Rebecca Zhu as the leading lady for the first time. Nice to see Kelvin Kwan participate in this as well since we last saw him in HKTV's Musical drama, Once Upon a Song and thought he did pretty well. Hello everyone! It's time for the final awards show review from us for 2017 (TVB's 50th Anniversary) at TVB that took place on Jan. 21st at TVB City. We're sure you've all seen the list of winners and this year was definitely full of surprises. It was also probably the worst year for red carpet fashions. We'll talk about our thoughts on the winners and a side note on the fashion. Netizen's Favourite Drama:  The Exorcist's Meter This came as no surprise for us even though we haven't finished the drama yet. There has been a lot of comments online praising this production for being heart-warming and original. Because of the good reviews, we're currently working on finishing it instead of watching The Forgotten Valley or whatever its called and Infernal Affairs .
