Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!! It's true that time just slips away since it's already the end of October and the TVB awards season has already begun! We decided to bring to you a warm song by Jason Chan, 陳柏宇 called 沒有你, 我甚麼都不是 for this October's Pick of the Month. This song was apparently released for his 10th anniversary as a singer - Congrats to Jason! He is a proficient singer, often putting together thoughtful music for the Hong Kong audience. The song is very soothing and calming and the melody is captivating. The music video is beautiful and has some breathtaking and gorgeous scenery. The articulation of the song is terrific and it is not just him standing and singing for the sake of it, like many artists these days. There are subtle hints and symbols he leaves, whether in his expression or the background captured by the camera. At the beginning, he seems lost and runs in a town foreign to him. Hello everyone! It is that time of the year again!! Awards season at TVB! We are so excited to let you know about the winners and our thoughts about them. We can't believe how fast this year went by and how many dramas have aired with the new MySuperTV and the changed broadcast days everyday including weekends for one time slot. With that said, let's take a look at the winners this year. My Favourite TVB Actor: Ruco Chan from A Fist Within Four Walls AND Wayne Lai from Short End of the Stick Okay... woah. DOUBLE WINNERS? Ruco winning this we definitely understand since that was pretty much the drama with the most hype and Ruco did a fantastic job in it with all the fight scenes and especially his comedic scenes with Nancy. We already knew he was going to get this award but we are a little shocked that there are two winners. Is it because last year for Astro they gave it to both Nancy and Kristal that now everyone thinks its acceptable to hand out prizes to everyone...

Welcome back! As September is coming to an end, we decided to bring to you guys the Pick of the Month of September. In June, the song we chose was 只知感覺失了蹤, by Dear Jane. We are glad to come back with another of Dear Jane's songs which is actually a continuation of the story of 陳浩然 and 高小曼 from their two previous songs: 哪裡只得我共你 and只知感覺失了蹤. Click here to see our older post on 只知感覺失了蹤 which includes both songs. We think that it's a great song with probably the best MV of this series so far because of all the compiled memories of the two lovers of the story. This song and MV is basically saying that after a while that 陳浩然 and 高小曼 broke up, they still often think of each other and they haven't fully forgotten their relationship. It's a nice addition to the series, giving us a bit of hope in the end, as the one before (只知感覺失了蹤) left us with a bitter and sad tone. We really love the story and the actors of the video portray their roles well. The song is refreshing...

Hello everyone!! Today we are bringing back some song reviews after taking a break for a while. There is no theme song for Law Disorder, but there is a sub-theme and an ending theme. The theme song music is basically like the ending theme instrumental though. We don't think having Hubert's song as a theme song or an ending theme makes any different in this case, actually sometimes we find it a little weird that there is no theme song since there has always been songs for TVB dramas and for us it has only been in recent years where we haven't heard songs. A side note on this drama, we have just seen one episode but we are excited to continue! We were wondering why Mandy Wong was in like none of the Youtube trailer promotions and why she was barely in the beginning clip before the ep starts... she is not really the lead in this one and it looks like TVB is pushing for Ali to be the main lead. Hello! Hope you had an awesome week! We are back with the weekly review of A Fist Within Four Walls! If you have not seen our first review, it's just the post before this one or you can click this . We are going to try keep this review shorter since we are a bit short on time this week so sorry about that. This drama has been getting a lot of great feedback and the viewership ratings are some of the highest TVB has seen this year. Our top three concerns still remain concerns because Ruco is just adequate here and good in his fight scenes but the character seems to have forgotten about where he came from and his family history and now he's just happy and irrational when it comes to saving people. Nancy has definitely surpassed our expectations as we said in our last review and continues to do so this week but we heard that she was going to show up in her black leather fighting suit soon so there will be more of her fighting scenes after a break for most of the second week. Hey everyone! Since it's summer time and we have a little more time on our hands, we were thinking of starting a weekly review for seven episodes of A Fist Within Four Walls (AKA FWFW). We will cover our thoughts and opinions on the performances of the actors, specific scenes worth noting and it goes without saying that there will be spoilers for each of the episodes. We will not walk through every single part of the episode because we are sure you have or will be seeing it for yourselves.
