Hello again!! This time we will be giving a small review with thoughts on every drama that aired this year! This is going to be a short little post as we do have the TVB Awards post and a Dead Wrong review (possibly) coming. The Ones we Didn't Watch (and why): Nirvana in Fire ( 瑯琊榜): We have heard that Nirvana in Fire is an amazing drama.   If we were to watch this drama, we would definitely watch the original one because TVB has a way of turning the best dramas into a disaster with poor editing and an addition of their own weird background music. The theme song that TVB had for this was just horrible and we did a rant on it here . This was a waste of broadcast time. Come Home Love II (愛·回家): No thank you! With the Ma family gone, why have it called CHL? Fashion War (潮流教主): The storyline seemed cliché and we weren't that into Moses and Sisley as the main leads. Today we will be bring you our review of Two Steps from Heaven , a 35-episode TVB 49th anniversary drama airing from October 24th to December 9th, 2016. Hey everyone, We're here to bring you some thoughts on the three new songs for Rogue Emperor. At first we thought that this drama was shelved forever. They have been talking broadcasting it ever since last summer in 2015 but it just kept getting pushed back. We are surprised that it has three songs, probably sung way before now... because if it was now, we don't' think Voice Ent would even make three songs for a drama they wanted to shelve for so long. After watching some grand anniversary productions, we are back to old school TVB in that pre-modern street and this is even more old-school as it is a remake of The Misadventure of Zoo with Adam Cheng and Lydia Shum back in 1981! It has been considered a classic and we don't really see a point in remaking it even though we haven't seen the original. Greetings again! We are back with our song pick of November. Unfortunately, none of the new songs this month really attracted us. So for the pick of the month, we chose to do 孤單的心痛, which we know is an older song originally sang by Vivian Chow. We recently found this new cover by TVB actress Katy Kung and we were surprised that she could sing! We like her soft voice and considering her little singing experience, we are fairly impressed (although we know there's auto-tune in there). We just heard that TVB is going to do another drama with the same cast of My Dangerous Mafia Retirement Plan and we just need to say: TVB, STOP MILKING SEQUELS, SPIN-OFFS, PREQUELS, ETC. OUT OF OLD DRAMAS FOR EVERYTHING. COME UP WITH SOME ORIGINAL IDEAS AND PAIR SOME NEW PEOPLE TOGETHER FOR YOUR DRAMAS. THAT WAS A DECENT, YET FORGETTABLE DRAMA THAT DOES NOT NEED TO BE RESURFACED AGAIN! WE ARE SO SICK OF THIS!!!!!! Apologies, we just had to get this out because we are super annoyed with how TVB is acting and uncontrollably spitting out sequels.

Hello again! This time, we are trying out a new post and giving thoughts about the freshly released TVB calendar for 2017. It has been traditional that every year TVB makes a calendar, although we're not entirely certain of the reason why. But we are sure that these recent years, it has become another method to advertise and sell their upcoming dramas to get people hyped up about them - even though it probably doesn't work very well. We remember that back then the photos had themes for each month. They are really more like drama posters rather than something you would really hang up on the wall... Nonetheless, hope you enjoy these pictures and our comments: Front Cover The cover looks clean and the main focus is on the '50' since its TVB's 50th anniversary next year.
