Hello! Hope everyone has been doing well! TVB hosted its Mid-Year Programme Sales Presentation on June 19, 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where they promoted their 8 upcoming dramas and 12 new variety shows to be released in the next half of the year. We do expect there to be some delays with some of the promoted shows they presented here, and not all of them may be able to be aired this year. Hello Everyone! We are here to give our yearly review of this historical night for TVB's Anniversary Awards. The eventful night took place on January 8th, 2023. Our post is a few days later because we had so many thoughts we wanted to share this time.We told ourselves not to expect too much this year due to certain award choices last year (you can check out our post last year). Certain artists tend to be favoured by the company even if they are not the audience's choice. The awards are listed based on the order they were announced. This year, the awards were open to public voting, where audience could cast up to 3 votes each for every category. How much the votes actually influenced the results is a mystery. The Malaysian audience had their own set of voting as well for the 3 Malaysian awards. We will start off with some of our general thoughts on the night's rundown before we dive into each individual award. Finally, we will take a look at the red carpet looks at the end.
