Hi Everyone, We are back with a new post for the  Stars Academy 2 Overseas Battle  Part 1 that aired on November 5th! We wanted to apologize first for not being able to get out a post to review the final episode of SA2 because we were incredibly busy those few weeks. We will share some of our general thoughts about it here before moving on to talk about the newest episode with overseas competitors from Malaysia and Australia. Hi Everyone, This review will cover the semi-final round of Stars Academy 2 from episodes 13-14. The top 10 contestants had to battle each other in five 1 vs 1 rounds, with the winning student advancing into the final. The draw was done based on the popularity poll. 1st place in the poll was placed against 6th place, 2nd against 7th, and so on. Hi Everyone, This is our 4th review of Stars Academy which will cover Episodes 11-12. Please read our posts about the previous episodes if you haven't yet  here .  These were 2 very special episodes because students had the chance to perform with the mentors of their teams, and there were a total of 8 performances with mentors including team leads, Eric Kwok and Hanjin Tan. Hi Fellow Stars Academy  Viewers, This is our 3rd review of Stars Academy which will cover Episodes 9-10 in time for the release of the newest episode. This round featured a full concert rundown by both the Red and Blue teams. Each team had to prepare 5 performances including an Opening, Song of the Year, Power Medley, Guest Performance, and Encore. The Red team named their concert "We We Red Red", and the Blue team named theirs "Once in a Blue Moon". The losing team with less points was required to eliminate 2 students from the show. We thought this was a really creative idea for a team battle because we have never seen something like this in a competition. Hey Everyone, This is our second review on  Stars Academy 2, and we will be reviewing episodes 6-8! If you haven't read our episode 1-5 review yet, check it out here . In these 3 episodes, the competitors had their first team battle. The Red team was led by Eric Kwok and consisted of Gin Lee, Vincy Chan, and Phil Lam's students. The Blue team was led by Hanjin Tan and consisted of JW, Eman Lam, and Alan Po's students. In each round, both Red and Blue teams send one of their students to perform against another, and the 25 judges choose if they like the Red or Blue team's performance. The mentors of the winning team after each round gets to pick if their student goes first or second in the subsequent round. The team with the most points after everyone has performed will win, and the losing team needs to eliminate a student. Hello Everyone, We are excited to be back with a new review! This time, we will be looking at TVB's large scale singing competition show, Stars Academy 2 . Because the show will be airing for a few months and there are plenty of discussion points each episode, we will be doing reviews periodically based on groups of episodes. Since the first round of elimination just ended, we will be talking our thoughts for Episodes 1-5 so far. We were thrilled that this season finally began to broadcast, especially after filming had to be delayed due to the pandemic. When Stars Academy  (we may refer it to as "SA" throughout the post) aired last year, we grew attached to the students and eagerly waited each week to catch the latest episode. We were amazed by how the students improved and now represent the new generation of Cantopop.
